The reason for this advice is that your conversations with AI are not protected from being disclosed to the opposing party. Unlike communications with attorneys, which are safeguarded by attorney-client privilege, any discussions you have with AI platforms can be accessed by the other side. Conversations with AI could seriously harm your case by potentially revealing: inconsistent statements about what happened at work, admissions that contradict your claims, exaggerations regarding the facts in your case, or overstated damages or injuries. Additionally, you might misremember information shared with the AI platform, leading the other side to argue that you are being dishonest at trial if your testimony contradicts what you previously told the AI.
